2024 Kia Telluride vs 2023 Kia Telluride
Serving Grand Junction, CO
The midsize Kia Telluride is a solid option for Colorado shoppers who need a three-row vehicle. From exciting features from bumper to bumper to an engaging performance and solid aesthetics, the Telluride crosses off every box on your list. Our customers at Red Rock Kia often debate between buying the 2023 Telluride or the 2024 version. These crossovers may initially appear identical, but there are a few notable differences between them.
Behind the wheel, the 2023 Kia Telluride and the 2024 version are comparable. The five trims all have the same 3.8-liter V6 gas engine. This is a 291-horsepower system with an eight-speed auto transmission. The SX Prestige trim is designed with standard all-wheel drive. The other trims for 2023 and 2024 have standard front-wheel drive with the possibility of upgrading to all-wheel drive. Some of the higher trim levels for both years add an off-road suspension system, all-terrain tires, an enhanced traction control system, a self-leveling rear suspension, and a suspension lift.
The minor changes to the 2024 Telluride are exclusively displayed on the exterior. In 2024, all Telluride trim levels now have amber-hued daytime running lights. In addition, the dark metallic trim on the X-Line and X-Pro trim levels in 2023 will be replaced by glossy black trim in 2024. Otherwise, the Telluride’s endearing style remains the same. The look is established by a commanding profile with a subtly raked rear. The Telluride’s sides are smooth except for slightly molded fenders and a pinstripe accent. Side-by-side, vertical LED headlights, a rectangular bumper, and a bowtie grille distinguish the front end.
On a trim-by-trim basis, the 2023 and 2024 Telluride are comparably appointed. Its many desirable features are smartphone app integration, a 12.3-inch touch display screen, climate controls in the first and second rows, a navigation system, adaptive cruise control, heated front and second-row seats, a wireless phone charger, a sunroof, side sunshades, a 12.3-inch digital driver’s cluster, a Harman Kardon audio system, a blind-spot monitor, a household power outlet, customizable ambient lighting, a heated steering wheel, a head-up display, leather upholstery, forward collision mitigation and other advanced technologies and features.
